1. EULA
Our software applications mp3TrueEdit and ‘easy Record and Trim’ are provided under the terms of the mp3TrueEdit™ - End User License Agreement (“EULA”). ‘Free Record and Trim’ being a reduced functionality version of mp3TrueEdit upgradable to the full functionality with a one-time in-app purchase. A copy of the license can be downloaded by clicking on the following link: eula.html.
2. What our software does
Our software applications mp3TrueEdit and ‘Free Record and Trim’ are designed to be easy to use MP3 and AAC audio editors that have the notable advantage of being able to make all their edits to audio files in a way that does not lose any audio quality. 3. *Supported Audio Formats
1) mp3TrueEdit™ is specifically written to handle MP3 files which are the most popular and compatible audio format. However, it does not currently support the ‘MP3 Pro’ or ‘MP3 free format’ versions of MP3 which are not widely used.
4. Who made this software
The software offered on our website and authorized third party stores has been developed by C2 Solutions Ltd. but does included software libraries developed by other third parties and licenced for use with our application as outlined in the above EULA.
5. Installing our software
Our software is either installed using the functionality of the authorized third party online store where you downloaded it from or by downloading one of the installer packages on our website’s Downloads page: downloads.html. Our software products and their installers do not make any unauthorized changes to your computer systems and only make changes to your computers configuration in order to facilitate the normal functioning of our applications as described on our website and online manual and including:
- Copying applications to standard installation locations.
- Allowing supported audio files types and projects to be opened by the system file browser.
- Registering the installer with the operating system for easy un-installation.
- Enabling system functionality for encoding MP3 files on Windows platforms.
Our software and its installers do not under any circumstances download or install any additional software or installers on your computer nor do they change the settings or configurations of any other software on your computer such as a web browser’s ‘home page’ or ‘default search engine’ settings.
Software versions download from our website and purchased via our third party purchasing partner FastSpring (http://www.fastspring.com/purchasing-through-fastspring.php) may require occasional internet access in order to validate purchased license keys or time limited evaluation keys. Our software also periodically connects to our website in order to determine if a new updated version of our software is available. If a new version of our software is available, the user will be informed and a link is given where the new version can be downloaded and installed manually.
6. Data Collection
Software versions download from our website may offer a free trial of the paid for functionality of our software for a limited period. If a user agrees to a free trial then in return the user is asked to provide email contact details for an evaluation key to be sent and with permission and in accordance with our Privacy Policy (privacy-policy.html) the user is asked to subscribe to our newsletter which can be cancelled at any time.
7. Uninstalling
Our software can be uninstalled quickly and easily using the standard methods of your operating system. On Windows this is found under ‘Control Panel | Programs | Uninstall a program’ and on OS X this can be done by dragging the ‘/Applications/mp3TrueEdit’ or ‘/Applications/Free Record and Trim’ folder to the recycle bin. On Android devices this can be done using the ‘Settings | Application manager’ facility.
8. **Price
For general guidance the price of our software is stated in US Dollars (excluding local taxes) on the Purchase page of our website: purchase.html However, exchange rates and local taxes will affect the price you pay in your country. The exact price you pay will be shown on the linked page of FastSpring’s payment portal who provide a secure payment facility for us using credit card, PayPal, or Pay with Amazon payment methods. In the event of any discrepancy between the price offered on our website and the price shown by FastSpring or any other third-party store authorized to sell our software the price on the authorized third-party store being used is final.
If you choose to purchase from an authorized third party Store then the price of the listed application will be shown in the respective store and payment will be made using the normal method for that authorized third party store. Our applications may now or in the future offer additional purchased functionality in the form of ‘in-app’ purchases which if offered will state either within the application or in the application's description what functionality is offered and at what price.
Purchases made for our software products or for extra functionality within that product are one off charges for an unlimited period of use unless otherwise stated.
9. Upgrades
In most cases upgraded versions of mp3TrueEdit will be offered free of charge. However, we do reserve the right to charge for extra functionality introduced in new versions of our applications should we feel that any new functionality warrants an additional payment.
We also reserve the right to charge for a new major version of any of our software applications and cease to offer maintenance upgrades for previous versions should this be deemed appropriate by us.
C. Refund Policy
We strive to make sure that our software is of the best quality one can expect and we also do our best to support any customer who has difficulty for whatever reason in using our software as we have described and promoted it.
The first port of call for any issues should be to check of F.A.Q. for any questions that have been previously asked and if any of these answers will solve your particular problem. If you cannot find an answer to your particular issue then please use our support contact form (support.html) where you will be guided by an experienced support engineer.
Should either of these two methods fail to solve your issue we provide a full refund of your payment in the following cases:
Note: If you request a refund for any purchased product then that license will be cancelled and the application inactivated.
When you stably encounter an error which is preventing you from using our software properly, and if we are not able to correct the error within an acceptable period of time or are unable to suggest a temporary solution. Please note that, in this case refund is only given if you provide detailed information about your error, requested by our support staff, such as screenshots of error messages, log files, detailed descriptions of your actions, file samples, etc.
If you experience hardware incompatibility issues (our software does not support your hardware) that prevents you from using our software properly and we are unable to eliminate the incompatibility within an acceptable period of time or suggest a temporary solution.
If you accidentally bought the software more than once.
A stated feature of the registered version fails to perform in the manner outlined in any written or verbal correspondence, sales material or advertising by C2 Solutions Ltd.
We reserve the right to decline refund requests in the following cases:
When a user demands a refund immediately after buying the software, since we provide free trial or demo versions for our users to test.
When a user informs us about changing his or her decision to buy the software, saying they have uninstalled it and are not going to use it without giving any particular reason.
When reasons which prevent a customer from properly using of our software are stated clearly on our official site. (for example, if the customer requests a refund due to the absence of features which we never claimed to provide and which are not listed in the feature list for our software).
Our company is very particular about any feedback from the users of our software. If you send us a message informing about an error, any question or just a suggestion, you will receive a fast and competent answer from our technical support team, usually within 1-2 business day.
